Nonda Choir Girl |
ASH Reg.No: 179381. Foaled 31/8/2005. Height 15.1hh. Choir Girl is from Nonda’s finest mare family founded in 1923. This big, athletic filly is by Sunday Knight, one of the selected thoroughbred sires that was used in Plaintree Farm’s special out-cross breeding program. Her dam Nonda Seventh Heaven is a full sister to the champion camp-draft mare Nonda Let’s Talk Later. Choir Girl is a very strong type of mare with an amazing length of rein. She has a nice, easy going nature and is pleasure to handle on the ground. This mare has specific performance breeding which suggests, along with her athletic frame, she will have what it takes to perform at the top level. She was started by Qualia Sport Horses in early 2008 but due to a small injury in the paddock she was put in foal to Hogans Tribune later that year. She has now produced a lovely chestnut filly and will be ready to continue her education from early April. She is a clean slate with the solid basics in place. |
