A most successful Queensland Zone Polocrosse Championships for 2009 were held at the Wandoan Show Grounds complex on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th July.

Teams from all six Polocrosse Zones in the state competed in the competition which was in Masters, Open Senior, Open Women, Mixed Intermediate, Open Junior, B Grade Junior and Open Sub Junior grades.

Many teams travelled long distances to compete in this event, but none as great as the thousand or so kilometre round trip of players from the Far North Zone. The fields played well and the new and improved facilites were appreciated by all. Thankyou to the Wandoan Club.
