With eight nations signed up to participate in the Ridley Polocrosse World Cup 2007, matches will be played as an eight team split round robin,
giving every nation an equal opportunity of winning the World Cup.
Teams
will be split into Groups A and B,
with the split designed to separate countries which otherwise have
good opportunities to compete against each other. This means that
Australia will be in a separate group to New Zealand, similarly
South Africa and Zimbabwe will be separated.
A number of other polocrosse playing nations have expressed interest in sending some representatives to the Cup - namely France , Germany, Norway and Zambia. The scope of their participation (outside the main competition) is yet to be announced.
