Under the current rules, participation in the Ridley Polocrosse World Cup 2007 is open to the world's top eight full members of the International Polocrosse Council (IPC). These countries are listed at the foot of the page.

Interest in Polocrosse is growing around the world as part of the general global increase in recreational horse riding. The sport is also keenly played in Zambia and their national association is an associate member of the IPC. Additionally there is active participation in the sport in France, The Netherlands, Germany and Norway, with growing interest in Polocrosse in a number of other new markets. Demonstration matches performed in China, in association with the Australian Stock Horse Society, attracted considerable interest.

We can confirm that France, The Netherlands and Zambia will all travel to Warwick for the Cup. While they are ineligible to participate in the main World Cup competition, they will participate in the concurrent Australian Equine Alliance Club Carnival. This will be held at Morgan Park over the last three days of Cup week and they too will be riding on borrowed horses. France is competing on horses loaned by the Warwick Polocrosse Club, the Netherlands on horses from Cunningham Polocrosse Club and Zambia will ride horses from the Tansey Polocrosse Club.
