          WORLD CUP Competition

With eight nations signed up to participate in the Ridley Polocrosse World Cup 2007, matches will be played as an eight team split round robin, giving every nation an equal opportunity of winning the World Cup.

Teams will be split into Groups A and B, with the split designed to separate countries which otherwise have good opportunities to compete against each other. This means that Australia will be in a separate group to New Zealand, similarly South Africa and Zimbabwe will be separated. To view a copy of the eight team split round robin draw click here.

A number of other polocrosse playing nations have expressed interest in sending some representatives to the Cup, some of whom will travel as players, others as spectators. Players from France, the Netherlands and Zambia will compete in the concurrent Australian Equine Alliance Club Carnival as they are not eligible to compete in this World Cup.
