Communications Centre

The Telstra Communications Centre on-site will provide a range of information services over a two week period (see below for operating hours). These services include:

• General public: on-site directions, match times, results and other general information.
• Media: supply plus player profiles, talent for interviews and live daily crosses as well as providing results, free press photographs/film footage as required and developing news opportunities.
• Participants: publishers of the daily news sheet Chukka Chat. This free, informal publication is available on competition days to all those working behind the scenes, players, volunteers and officials.
• Research: meeting point for mature students from Warwick TAFE who will undertake the on-site visitor survey for the economic impact study. Completed forms are returned to the Centre each day for input by the Warwick Shire Council.
• Sponsors: in addition to the sponsor/VIP room, an alternative meeting point for media or officials with sponsors.
• Website: daily international match results and commentary is uploaded to the wbsite from here, linking to the official photo gallery and internet streaming.

Operating Hours 16-29 April 2007*:

• Monday April 16: 10am - 4pm
• Tuesday 17: 7am - 4pm PRESS DAY
• Wednesday 18 to Sunday 22 inclusive: 10am - 4pm
• Monday 23: 7am - 5pm (first day of competition )
• Tuesday 24: 9am - 5pm
• Wednesday 25: 6.30am - 12.20pm
• Thursday 26: 12noon - 10pm
• Friday 27: 7am - 10pm
• Saturday 28: 7am - 10pm
• Sunday 29: 6.30am till late (last day of competition)

*Hours may be extended, subject to demand and resources.
