         Polocrosse

This exciting, amateur contact sport is fast-paced and can be played with mixed teams. The pace, ball skill and contact has earned it a reputation by some, as rugby on horseback.

Polocrosse presents an incomparable athletic challenge involving great skill, speed and stamina. It demands lightning-quick reflexes of both horse and rider.

Each rider/player needs only one horse; making it accessible for lovers of horse sports.

Teams can comprise both male and female players and in World Cup competition teams will be mixed. This family sport involves children from aged seven through to men and women aged 70 – all of whom can compete on an equal basis at various levels.

Today Polocrosse actively involves thousands of players around the world and has a strong, natural following with lovers of outdoor and country pursuits.
